The midterm elections Nov. 6 also brings some important referendum questions on the ballot for voters in Miami. One is whether or not to move to a strong mayor form of government. A second is whether or not to enter into a 99-year lease with the Miami Freedom team to build a soccer stadium and a retail/hotel/office complex where Melreese Golf Course is now. The third is a lease for developers to build three towers where the UTD housing on Brickell is now.

We need more circulators like trolleys to ease the traffic on the roads. Tell your elected officials that you support the use of the half penny transportation tax for trolleys, shuttles and other circulators.
